Getting more ethanol out of the corn kernel by converting the fiber is gaining traction. In this webinar, we’ll hear about the latest developments regarding D3MAX and its technology that converts residual starch and corn kernel fiber in wet cake to cellulosic ethanol. We’ll also learn why effective pretreatment is a necessary first step in maximizing cellulosic ethanol yield, along with the latest on advancements in enzymes for the conversion of the cellulose and hemicellulose in corn kernel fiber to fermentable sugars. A big part of the value proposition for cellulosic ethanol lies in the D3 RIN. We will learn what producers need to know in order to capture that value when converting corn fiber to ethanol.
